At ICO, we are very lucky to have a plethora of locations to choose from when it comes to selecting externships. We have sites in almost every state in the U.S. as well as international sites. This is great because, if you’re like me, you may not be 100% set on where you want to practice post-graduation or post-residency. This year, our selection process was completely revised. OEP, or Optometry Extension Program, is an internationally-recognized optometry group that works to enhance the visual process and clinical care. Halloween is just around the corner! Being from Massachusetts, I love Halloween. I grew up taking trips to Salem to explore where the Witch Trials were held; it’s an awesome place around the Halloween season! When I moved away from Massachusetts, I was nervous that one of my favorite times of year would no longer be as much fun. Lucky for us at ICO, we get spend most of the fall season in Chicago- and there is a lot to do. Boo Bash This is an ICO-specific event for Halloween.
